The overall impression is, (TrainSimulations dot com), the manufacturer of Railworks 3 has done a spot on job with amazing attention to detail. Just about everything I could think of to be an engineer is brought to task in this game. You can run freight, or take passengers from station to station. I highly recommend doing the tutorials in detail because they will help you with running each and every train and also how to change switches and tracks. Don't skip this part of the experience. It will probably take you, maybe 2 hours to complete all of the tutorials. After that you can drive just about everything. The last tutorial takes you through the famous Horseshoe Bend in the Allegheny mountains of Pennsylvania (near Altoona). A lot of the little detail is not what i have experienced since i bought the game. what i mean by the little detail is such as the rain drops on the windows and little things like that. However, the game is excellent as far as the developer has really put a lot of work into the game to bring the most realistic train simulator to date in my opinion. However, I really am disappointed that when you purchase the standard version ( Because Amazon does not sell the Deluxe version that includes the Horseshoe Curve Route) there is very little to do with today's United States based Railroad operations. But if you are into the Foreign locomotives and such there seems to be an abundance of that included in the game when you purchase it. For all the Extra US based routes you must purchase the ADD ON packages for them. When...
